The building was completed in 2007 and has since become an meeting point for inhabitants, cabin dwellers and tourists.

The centre contains:

Swimming facilities with wellbeing/children’s and sports pool, whirlpool, sauna and water slides
Cinema
Library
Art gallery
Café offering healthy snacks and free internet access.
Large hall with concert / theatre stage
Meeting rooms / conference facilities.
